Darkhumans live to fight eachother and once they defeated another one of their kin, they absorb they're soul. If the soul doesn't get absorbed, they will regenerate to they're full health again. There are two spots on the body you have to destroy in order to kill one without extracting the soul.
The rank of the 3 most powerful Dark Humans is called Devian.

Resently Kenzari was granted a curse/blessing which prohibits others to extract his energy. That makes it really hard to kill him.
